1. Description and Development: Ecdysten, a non-hormonal dietary supplement,
dramatically increases anabolic effects without negative hormonal influences.
In the 1980s, researchers at the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances in the former USSR used root extractions from Rhaponticum carthamoides to formulate Ecdysten. This tonic preparation’s active ingredient, 20-hydroxyecdysone (ecdysterone), was used to boost anabolic processes without negative hormonal effects.
2. Effects:
There is clear scientific evidence that the increase of nitrogen retention during ecdysterone supplementation enables resistance training to be up to 20 times more effective in muscle growth and fat burning activation.
